Maria Garcia works with her team at athenahealth on the vast and complex problem of electronic medical records and medical billing. When applying OOUX to projects at athena, Maria has found ways to extend OOUX to make strategic enterprise-level UX feel less overwhelming.

Maria will also discuss how to extend OOUX with Business Process Modeling (BPM) to express how workflows relate to objects.

Finally, Maria will share some ideas she is starting to advance on how her team can coordinate work across the business using objects as an organizing principle for their design system.
